Founder profile

Tristan McAlister

Tristan McAlister is a college baseball coach, former NCAA Division I outfielder, and player-development professional committed to helping athletes build complete games and lasting confidence.

McAlister served as the Hitting Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at the University of Mary Washington during the 2025-26 academic year. The Eagles earned an at-large selection to the NCAA Division III Tournament while the offense hit .303, produced 102 extra-base hits, and stole 112 bases.

Before returning to Virginia, he worked in player development and baseball operations at UNC Greensboro and served as Director of Baseball Operations at his alma mater, Mount St. Mary's. His experience also includes associate scouting work with the Baltimore Orioles and assisting Detroit Tigers prospect workouts.

As a player, McAlister competed at Patrick & Henry Community College and Mount St. Mary's. At Patrick & Henry, he hit .353, led the country with 52 stolen bases, earned all-region recognition, and was named to the NJCAA World Series All-Tournament Team. He later hit .323 at Mount St. Mary's and competed in the NECBL and Valley Baseball League.

Jordan is losing direction during the second hitting block. Should we lower the volume?

Yes—keep the front toss volume at two rounds this week and focus on the contact-point cue from page three.
